Who we are
Cyber Fox is en.kiberlis.ru and its sister site kiberlis.ru. We publish guides on privacy, home servers and automation. For any privacy request, message us on Telegram: @kiberlisru.
What data we receive
- Technical visit data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, visit time and referrer. It is collected by Yandex Metrica, described below.
- Data you enter in the comment form: name, email and website.
- Messages you send on Telegram after clicking an order button on the services page.
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties other than the services listed in this policy.
Web analytics
To learn which guides are useful and where pages are hard to read, the site uses Yandex Metrica. It receives pseudonymous visit data and sets its own cookies in your browser.
Yandex Metrica and Session Replay
Yandex Metrica counts visits, clicks, link transitions and scroll depth. Session Replay (Webvisor) is enabled: it reproduces on-page activity such as cursor movement, scrolling, clicks and text selection. Text typed into form fields is masked by default.
Metrica data is stored by Yandex under its privacy policy. Session recordings are visible only to the site owner and are deleted automatically after 15 days.
How to opt out
- Block cookies for this site in your browser settings or use a private window.
- Install the Yandex Metrica opt-out add-on.
- Every guide stays fully available without analytics cookies.
Cookies
Apart from analytics cookies, the site uses only standard WordPress cookies. When you leave a comment, you can choose to save your name, email and website so you do not have to type them again. These cookies last one year.
Your light or dark theme choice is kept in your browser and never sent to the server.
Comments
Along with a comment we store the form data, your IP address and browser user agent to fight spam. Comments may be checked by an automated spam detection service.
An anonymized string created from your email (a hash) may be sent to Gravatar to show your avatar. Gravatar privacy policy: automattic.com/privacy. Once a comment is approved, your avatar is shown publicly next to it.
Service requests
Order buttons on the services page open Telegram with a prefilled message. The site does not receive or store these messages: the conversation happens in Telegram, and its contents are used only to reply to your request and do the work.
Embedded content from other websites
Guides may include embedded videos, images and other media from third-party sites. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you visited the original site: it may collect data, use cookies and track your interaction with it.
How long we keep data
Comments and their metadata are kept while the comment is published, so that follow-up comments from the same author can be approved automatically. Analytics retention is governed by the Yandex policy.
Your rights
You can ask what data the site holds about you, request a correction or deletion, or withdraw your consent. Message @kiberlisru on Telegram and we will reply within 10 business days. We keep only what we are required to retain by law or for site security.
